Educational Materials

As a leading consultancy for environmental studies in the Maltese Islands, Ecoserv Ltd is well placed to develop educational materials for environmental awareness, including guidelines and explanatory notes on environmental legislation and protected species. The company has been involved in developing various materials illustrating concepts and current issues on the marine and terrestrial environments of the Maltese Islands, and on waste management and environmental sustainability, amongst other topics. Projects include the development of study unit descriptions and teaching resources, development of nature trails and producing environmental information boards.

Development of study unit description and teaching unit resources; MCAST Higher Certificate Course in Gozo Regional Management Studies; Natura 2000 Principles and Application in Malta.
Unit design and compilation of syllabus and teaching guidelines for various units as part of MCAST's National Diploma course in Environmental Conservation (Level 5) and the course for an Extended Diploma in Environmental Sustainability (Level 4).
Setting up of an underwater trail in the Marine Protected Area of Rdum Majjiesa and Ras Ir-Raheb (Malta).
Provision of visuals and related information text for use on information boards deployed in several localities, including Wied il-Qlejgha (Chadwick Lakes) ,Ta' Fajtata Beach (Marsascala).
